Abstract
清代出現一批本於真人實事創作的戲曲。本講座聚焦書寫死亡的作品，探討地方公眾事件、家族史或私人事件緣何搬上舞台。講座重點分析戲曲家如何利用文本內外的祭祀儀式與祠廟空間，將觀眾因死亡事件而引發的義憤、哀憫或恐懼，轉化為符合社會意識形態的道德情感，建構地方記憶與社會秩序。本研究稽考戲曲、方志、詩文、史傳、筆記等材料，並借鑒歷史學與人類學的視野和成果，探析清代文人戲曲的社會功能與文化脈絡。
The Qing dynasty witnessed the rise of dramas based on real people and events. This talk will focus on the plays that depict the events of deaths and will examine how the literati drew inspiration from public affairs, family history as well as personal affairs to construct local memory and social order. Dr. Chen will investigate how playwrights, through onstage and offstage rituals, transformed the audience’s feelings of outrage, compassion and horror triggered by the events of deaths into moral sentiments consistent with social ideology. The documents of gazetteers, poetry, prose, historical records, and random jottings, along with historical and anthropological approach, will help unravel the social function and cultural context of Qing literati drama.

陳亮亮博士現任香港中文大學（深圳）人文社科學院講師。復旦大學中文系學士，香港科技大學中國哲學碩士，香港中文大學中國文學博士，獲香港中文大學“2016年度研究生學術成果獎”。陳博士專研中國古典戲曲、明清文學與明清思想史，關注戲曲文學形式、文人自我表達、意識形態之間的關係，已發表數篇研析乾嘉文人戲曲的學術論文。
Dr. Chen Liangliang is currently a Lecturer in the School of Humanities and Social Science at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. She received her BA in Chinese Literature from Fudan University, MPhil in Chinese Philosophy from HKUST, and PhD in Chinese Literature from CUHK. She specializes in classical Chinese drama, Ming-Qing literature and intellectual history with a focus on how the genre of drama was employed for literati’s self-expression while broaching the ideology of late imperial China. She won the “2016 Postgraduate Research Output Award” at CUHK and has published several journal papers on literati drama of the High Qing era.
