陳熾洪先生，中文學院中文增補課程講師(前稱語文導師)，1996年開始在香港大學執教，主要講授「現代漢語」及「規範漢字」。行政工作方面，陳先生爲工程學院中文增補課程及醫學院生物醫學科中文增補課程的聯絡人，統整課程安排及學生考核工作。此前，陳先生在香港的中學工作十五年，任教中國語文及中國歷史科。教學之餘，陳先生長期參與香港考試及評核局中學中國語文科公開考試的工作，又曾發表了有關語文教學的論文。

Mr Chan Chi Hung joined the CLEP(School of Chinese), HKU in 1996 as a language instructor(retitled as lecturer in 2013), teaching practical Chinese. Main topics being taught include Practical Chinese writing skills,  Chinese language and Standard Chinese Characters. He is the coordinator of two Practical Chinese Language courses. Besides, he continually participate in the works of public examinations administered by the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority. He also participated in conferences and submitted papers over the past years.
